Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 September 2026
1. Who this agreement is with
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or the "Customer") and MyFinance ("MyFinance," "we," "us," or "our"), the provider of the MyFinance finance task calendar software-as-a-service platform (the "Service"), accessible at myfinance.business and related domains.
By creating an account, clicking "I agree," or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, in which case "you" refers to that entity.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it, except to the extent caused by MyFinance's own breach of these Terms. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
You are responsible for ensuring that everyone you invite to your company's account, and everyone who uses the Service under your company's subscription, complies with these Terms.
3. Subscriptions, fees, and payment
Access to the Service requires an active, paid subscription. Current plans and pricing are described at signup and on our pricing page, and may change from time to time — we will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it applies to your next billing period.
Depending on the option you select at signup, your subscription either begins with a free trial period (during which a payment method is still required, but you are not charged until the trial ends) or begins with an immediate charge. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive billing periods unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and — except where required otherwise by law, including the consumer withdrawal right below — fees already paid are non-refundable.
If a payment fails, we may suspend or limit your access to the Service after a reasonable grace period, during which we will attempt to notify you and allow you to update your payment details.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are an individual consumer (not acting for purposes related to your trade, business, craft, or profession) located in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services within 14 days without giving a reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. By selecting the immediate-charge signup option and beginning to use the Service right away, you expressly request that we begin performance immediately and acknowledge that, as a consequence, you lose this withdrawal right once the Service has been fully performed, or, for a partially performed period, you remain liable for the proportionate cost of what has already been provided. The free-trial signup option is offered specifically so that consumers who prefer to retain this right can evaluate the Service before any charge occurs.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit anyone else to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or the systems or networks connected to it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through excessive automated use, scraping, or load testing without our prior written consent;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a bureau or managed service without our prior written consent;
- upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to submit;
- use the Service to store or process data in violation of applicable data protection law.
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated this section, with notice where practicable.
5. Your data and content
As between you and MyFinance, you own all data, files, and content you or your team upload to or create within the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant MyFinance a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data solely as necessary to provide, maintain, and support the Service for you, including any AI-assisted features you choose to use.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the Customer Data you submit, and for ensuring you have all necessary rights and consents to upload it — including any personal data of your own employees, colleagues, or third parties. Our processing of personal data on your behalf is governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, a separate Data Processing Agreement.
We do not claim ownership of your Customer Data, and we do not sell it. Upon termination of your subscription, we will make your Customer Data available for export for a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted in accordance with our data retention practices.
6. AI-assisted features
The Service includes optional AI-assisted features (including natural-language question answering, document analysis, and financial reconciliation). These features are provided as a convenience and are not a substitute for professional financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice. AI-generated content, analysis, summaries, and suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. You are solely responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it for any business, financial, tax, legal, or compliance decision. MyFinance is not liable for any decision made or action taken in reliance on AI-generated content.
7. Intellectual property
MyFinance and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, design, "MyFinance" name and logo, and all related intellectual property, excluding Customer Data. These Terms grant you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription — no other rights are granted.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on and integrates with third-party providers (including, among others, payment processing, cloud hosting, email delivery, and AI model providers) to operate. We select these providers carefully, but we do not control their systems and are not responsible for outages, errors, or data handling by third parties that are outside our reasonable control, without prejudice to any non-waivable rights you may have against us under applicable law.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected. Nothing in this section limits any warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded for a consumer under applicable law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and without prejudice to Section 11 below: MyFinance, its owners, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MyFinance's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, however arising, shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by you to MyFinance in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which liability is based (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), and even if a remedy fails its essential purpose.
11. What these limitations do not cover
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) intent or gross negligence (opzet of bewuste roekeloosheid) on the part of MyFinance's own management; or (d) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Dutch or EU law, including mandatory consumer protection law where you are a consumer. Where a provision of these Terms would otherwise exclude such liability, it is limited only to the maximum extent that the law permits, rather than being void in its entirety.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyFinance, its owners, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any third-party claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your Customer Data or your use of the Service in violation of applicable law; or (c) your violation of any third party's rights, except to the extent caused by MyFinance's own breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Term and termination
These Terms remain in effect for as long as you maintain an account or active subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within a reasonable period after notice, or immediately for serious breaches (including non-payment beyond the applicable grace period, or a violation of Section 4). You may terminate by cancelling your subscription at any time as described in Section 3.
Sections 5 through 12, and any other provision that by its nature should survive, remain in effect after termination.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that if you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU member state, you also retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of that country's law that cannot be contractually waived.
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have to bring proceedings in your own country of residence, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
16. General
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order/plan details presented at signup, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyFinance regarding the Service.
- Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary.
- No waiver: our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure: neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
17. Contact
